Teaching Roots

Welcome, new teachers - your journey as educators starts now.

I know firsthand how vital support is in the early years of teaching. Thanks to incredible mentors, I didn’t just survive my first years—I thrived. That experience fuels my passion for helping new teachers gain the confidence, skills, and support they need to succeed.

New teachers deserve guidance, resources, and confidence to thrive. Through personalized coaching, workshops, and ongoing support, I help educators navigate challenges, build skills, and create positive learning environments—ensuring they make a lasting impact from day one.

New teachers can access a range of support services designed to ease their transition into the classroom. These services include:

  • Mentorship Programs: Experienced in classroom teaching, school administration, and educational technology, mentorship is provided to guide and support new teachers through their initial years.

  • Professional Development Workshops: Workshops on topics such as classroom management, lesson planning, and differentiated instruction help build essential teaching skills.

  • Classroom Observations and Feedback: Constructive feedback is provided through remote and in-person classroom observations, helping teachers reflect on and improve their instructional practices.

  • Technology Integration Support: Training is available to help teachers effectively incorporate technology into their classrooms to enhance learning experiences.

  • Resources and Materials: A curated collection of lesson plans, assessment tools, and instructional materials is available to support effective teaching.

  • Overall Support and Well-being: Guidance is offered to help teachers manage stress and maintain a healthy work-life balance as they navigate their new roles.

A little about me…

With 15 years in education—as a classroom teacher, school administrator, and technology coach—I’m passionate about empowering educators to show up as their best selves for every student.

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, drawing, yoga, and time with family and friends. Both originally from the Northeast, my husband and I now call San Francisco home. I look forward to connecting with you!
